occasional opinions from the Hub
They're importing beef b/c it turns out that when you don't have immigrants to work in horrific and dangerous conditions at slave wages, it's too expensive to make a profit here. Ranchers single handedly rely on these laborers to harvest their animals. You know, the same ones who all voted for djt.

The legal fees from this psychotic man could probably fund SNAP benefits and more

exactly what they wanted all along. DOGE defunded public services while stealing everyone’s data to be used in said private sector

Your Amazon and materialism campaign is bizarre and against why I followed your work in the first place. I don't have time for unfollowing these days, straight to block

Awful I'm sorry. Our current food system is broken; and it's all for the "Big Ag" execs making sure they get their multi-million dollar bonuses.

She's in bed with the monopolies. Cargill, JBS and Tyson own 80% of all beef produced in this country. They rely on cheap immigrant labor and even child exploitation and now they can't fill those dangerous and horrific jobs that no 'american' wants to do.

Someone mentioned it but another vote for Cleverhood. (Note I am not mobility impaired and sure this is not perfectly ideal, but do bike and find it to be covering without being too long and tangled)

Small farmers are too busy or exhausted growing everyone's food in a climate disaster, they have no education on what's behind the political curtain. They're amenable to empty promises and intimidated by people who've never been to a farm but successfully push right wing rhetoric down their throats.

THIS.

Farmers have long been lied to and preyed on by Big Ag conglomerates and lobbying. They use the small farmer and disconnected rural towns as their political pawn pieces. Farmers can barely afford to keep their land, making the bottom scraps on the dollar, while big ag makes billions each day

They literally just mean Covid is killing people at lower rates than things say, car crashes, suicides, or cancer. And while it's true that many people get Covid, death rates aren't what they were in 2020 due to vaccines. You're trying to say they're lying or denying, when they are not.
