Writing in the shower with my Notes App is my go to trick. It takes the edge off and lets the creativity flow, rather than thinking of it as Serious Writing.
Usually after a few minutes I can get out and switch to a laptop, or least sit down.

As someone disabled in childhood, watching people who used to say “I’d kill myself if I had to live like you,” then avoid taking even minor precautions to avoid such a fate has been *wild*.

Thinking is a skill, a muscle, something that must be trained and looked after. It degrades without use. Who is benefiting from a public so burnt out and fried they seek anyone to come make their choices for them?
