Lot of NY$$ w homes and yachts in SC. Both winter/golf places and summer "cabins." Also many family ties from Great Migration. It may be desperate, but it makes sense in a way. Lots of non-stop flights NYC to Myrtle Beach.

Left, this means we have to mine more and batteries are messy. Right, time to stop fetishizing oil and coal, although esp LNG and yes, coal will still matter. Next generation, domestic, cleaner energy is patriotic. It should be the new American project. It won't be because we are all so petty.

Every solar panel or wind turbine is less money from us to them. We should be able to get together on this. Next, we have to build at least some of the panels, turbines, and batteries here, meaning we must take global battery dominance from China.
