Hopeful author and audiobook narrator. Constantly mixing up G.K. Chesterton and C.S Lewis quotes.
We spend six months out of the year in a frozen hellscape with nothing to do but stay inside and contemplate the horrors of the human heart, what else do you expect from us?

Oh, wait, this is about writers, not Maine baseball fans.

To be fair, in 80s movies, everyone over the age of 30 was considered ancient and decrepit.

Except for Judd Nelson in Breakfast Club, who was 30 and considered 17.

So now that you've done 300 sewers, do you get the next one free?

Or did you forget the punch card again?

I'm very, super, awfully proud of this one, pleeeeeease give it a listen! If you like cozy fantasy, you absolutely OWE it to yourself to take this book in, either through your ears or through your eyes!

I do not recommend eating Tangleweed & Waterbloom, however. You don't get the nuance that way.

Ah, yes, Crotch Lightning, my favorite GI-Joe.

I'm excited for you! I was doing the rounds of a little bookstore in Bangor, ME when Sky's End caught my attention. I had a small moment of "hey! I follow that guy on social media and there's his book, right here in podunk Central Maine, good on him!"

When you omit "A Black man is getting a standing ovation in the Deep South for breaking a record of an all-time baseball idol," you completely alter what Scully was describing as "marvelous." Scully was NOT just broadly marveling. He was marveling at a very specific, very important thing.

"Aha! I've finally time-traveled! I'll need a point of reference. You there, good baseball fan, what is the status of Chris Sale?"

"He just suffered a freak injury."

"Curses, foiled again!"

(I know, I know, I'm reusing the Skyrim-what-year-is-it format, but it works well here)

"That was a terrible call!"

*review comes back that it's correct*

"Bite my shiny metal ABS!"

I'd agree that they were all around good, but they lacked personality. They tended to sink into the background way too much for my liking, I had to drop SFX to 50% to hear the music properly.

I enjoyed them when they were accompanying my stomping around, but I couldn't pick one out from a crowd.

The monkey paw curls:

The next steak you get has exactly 8oz cut off with a note that says "you know what you did."
