If you’re on Facebook, I’m a music group that will listening to (and commenting on) the Go-Betweens discography starting Monday. It’s called Temporary Fandoms.

Even if he’d only ever recorded «Many Rivers to Cross», he’d be a legend. That’s gotta be a song for the all time list.

Like playing «Fortunate son» or «Born in the USA» at political rallies.

Still might be me fave. Not that his subsequent albums aren’t great, but this feels the most «authentic» before he really embraced the character/caricature of Tom Waits.

The live plate is one of their all time best.

I bought it at a thrift shop in Oslo for next to nothing. Great buy.
