Agreed. As an Aussie my sentiment towards USA has turned negative with recently.

You would think the democrats would be able to make a damning argument against it. Though they don’t seem to be very good at anything these days. What of the cops. Silent I guess.

The groups can be good but yes it’s nothing like the old days. I don’t see ‘friends’ posting much anymore and otherwise it’s full of garbage.

I suspect most will decide to ride out 4 years. I’d like countries hit back even if they use ‘nationalism’ as part of the return fire. Don’t see Musk attacking China do we.

Gee so much unhinged hate on David Brooks, I had to double check I wasn’t looking at Twitter. I’ve watched his weekly segment on PBS for years and find him to be pretty good. I’m no conservative.

My Russian friend and I have been sending each other Merry Christmas cards for over 20 years, I expect that to continue for a long time yet.

Bit over 20 years ago I stayed with a lovely family in Yekaterinburg for a few weeks. They had one of those large water bottles in their house. I was fine until I travelled on the train and washed my teeth using the water. Was crook for a few days.

I’ve always found reading Russians use of the word hooligan amusing. As if it’s an insult from an old man angry someone is on their grass.

I think all it will achieve is another generation bent on revenge in the next few years. Destroy a homeland, murder families and kids and reckon it will end in peace eh. Not a chance.
