Half way through The Silmarillion and the book has abandoned story in favor of just describing places and people who lived there. It's turned into a Lonely Planet guide that wants me to draw my own map. Also it feels like there's going to be a quiz at the end.

I spent approximately 2 years writing my dissertation, and my biggest accomplishment since completing my PhD last December is that I have found every lightroot and, therefore, mapped the entire underground in Zelda: TOTK.

Step 2: Look for work in academia... in progress
Step 3: Realize your youth was spent completing a PhD and that you are entering the job market as a (borderline?) middle-aged person ✔️
Step 4: Try to find a job in a non-English speaking country...
