Terry Hughes, who served on my thesis committee, did something like this. He printed out the paper that was the subject of his AGU presentation and pinned the sheets to the board. (To his credit he did stand next to his ‘poster’)

My GNS Science colleague and I sampled the glacial boulders on Edoras/Mt Sunday back in 2018 to determine the glacier history. It was surreal to work in the shadows of Rohan (which must’ve been established since about 18,000 years ago, when the ice-age Rangitata Glacier receded from the valley).

A little off-topic, but I recently discovered the Swisstopo Lidar. Needless to say I am now even further behind in my grading.

Indeed. Made a big batch of Guinness beef stew yesterday (partially for freezing and storing), and then enjoyed the surviving can of the 4-pack this evening while watching football.
