I had this happen to me with Prolific back in the spring. Paid a couple hundred $ for responses on an instrument that worked well pre-AI, and over half of the new batch was totally worthless slop. Customer service was worthless.

A common misunderstanding people have about finding a calling in life is that a calling means being free from any frustration, mundanity, or discomfort. The things worth doing *all* involve work that is, at times, unpleasant.

Better advice is to follow your blisters, not your bliss. #fromclasstoday

I love this study showing that when people ask "What could I do?" instead of "What should I do?" they come up with more AND ethically stronger options. The authors call this moral insight, a way of seeing past the first options that appear in a dilemma.
