And not to be crazy but, why are people obsessed with what poor people do with their time?

And USDA is blaming undocumented immigrants, trans people, and Democrats when it is all on Trump.

Trump has an authorized $5B SNAP contingency fund he won't use because he wants to make people suffer to force Democrats to accept his terms.

That includes children, veterans, active duty troops.

But the problem with legislating what “some people do” - the rules apply to everyone else, including a majority of people who don’t do that.

Thanks for your perspectives I think we’ve reached the end of the discussion because we keep getting to the same fundamental disagreement.

That’s a framing that makes so many assumptions.

Should a champion for women’s rights while in office get a job in an industry to continue fighting for women’s rights when they lose an election because of MAGA nonsense?

And once again - not being a lobbyist doesn’t end influence.

Big agree on the term limits.

I just don’t know what the difference between a former elected lobbyist and a former elected using their personal relationships (unmonitored) or being the CEO / board member of a consulting firm/lobbying firm or campaign shop.
