16/ Wouldn't this be a massively buggy system riddled with flaws from combining so many datasets with disparate structures, sources, etc.? Yes, absolutely. But it doesn't matter to them. If you're an oligarch, any errors would be resolved. An imperfect hammer is better than none at all to them.

I’ve never really experienced hope as a discipline. I kinda just always believed change was possible with maximum effort. After years of working in police accountability I know longer believe that. It’s led to such a bizarre crisis of faith. In which I organize sometimes in the hopes that I am wrong

I think part of it is a lesson learned from BLM organizing, specifically because that protesting as a knee jerk reaction can waste energy better spent. But also I think it’s tiredness and jadedness from the pandemic and crazy discourse of the last four years
