Do you know the typical demographics of TikTok. My two college daughters love it, but if it gets bought I see them moving to something else. They both used to love Target and have basically stopped going for the last year. Some boycotts are long lasting, especially if if changes habits.

I’m not as successful financially as my parents, despite significantly more education. And my kids are headed down the path of more education than my wife and I. But I worry my kids won’t be as successful as me due to rising home prices and falling wages overall. And it is getting worse.

Don’t forget the added benefit of being able to fire them after X days of not showing up at the office.

It also shows the power a monopoly can have over prices and how long it can take to overcome the effects. Ma Bell was broken up in 82 and 84. It is a good thing we have less and less regulation as industries consolidate into virtual monopolies.
