And that's a world MANY of us indie hopefuls are in at the moment. If a well-known writer can crank out 10 books a month, why take a chance on Mr. Nobody?

Agreed. It is sad to see shops posting that they just simply don't care, though.

I like a good mainstream book as much as many others do, but basically saying, "Batman is better and cheaper, so maybe make yours better and cheaper" isn't all too constructive.

Indie comics need time to grow and people to fight their corner.

If all you want is to see superheroes, have at it, but you are enabling an industry to just keep on pumping that out and see nothing new, real, or inspiring.

You can choose to be a part of growth. But if you aren't... 🤫
