Alas, probably not. If I remember correctly, freelancers actually can't form a union. They can form a more informal guild but they lack real bargaining power.

It is still very frustrating that no guild will allow comic creators in. I am sure there are technical or legal reasons, but honestly it just feels like professional snobbery on their part.
