This isn't how you build popular support
You're not because you say they're "focused on saying popular things" which isn't what they are actually doing. If you read the article they are trying to get their base+the left to accept unpopular things. Literally the opposite It won't help them win. The last election proved that. They are all liberal politicians and the things they're going to do is not popular. Right wing bullshit won't work for them because no one wants a diet fascist except stupid liberals, which is a shrinking portion of the country Like even your belief that they're actually going to say what is popular rather than embrace right wingers is proof of how braindead the average liberal is. Abandoning trans people is only popular with Nazis! BLM is popular. Courting the right DOES NOT WORK
