It’s a bit of trial and error at first, as you’re finding, but after that I’ve found Visible incredibly helpful for my pacing. Hope you do too!

Hi Ben. Another option to consider is to increase your ‘exertion’ threshold to be closer to your lactate threshold. That’s consistent with my reading of the guidance re HR zones in the app. PacePoints accumulate LOADS faster when HR is in that exertion zone.

Thanks Ben. I saw that and the ‘correlates well with when you start needing to breathe through your mouth’ advice, which is what I assume you’re referring to? Your estimates seemed a tad more precise, so I’d wondered if you’d found something else, but maybe just doing it in a v controlled way.
