Strong and large velocity couplet and a lot of lightning. Quite rare to see a (possible) supercell in January.

This supercell produced two tornadoes and severe downbursts in northern Italy back in 2020. We saw the second tornado as it crossed the motorway right in front of us. I took this image about 30 min later as we repositioned. At this time the storm was in its downburst stage.

Both are from 2018. The first one is from April 18 near Kierspe, NRW, Germany. The 2nd is May 14 near Arkansas City, KS, USA just before tornado genesis.

Rain-wrapped beast unfortunately damaging the town of Colognola ai Colli next to Verona, Venetia, Italy on August 29 2020. Though it had a clear damage path, the tornado could not be assessed professionally due to the amount of damage that day.
