It made sense, because batteries of that era were big, heavy, and ran down quickly. But look at the progress in the last 20 years in cellphones. I can use my smartphone all day with no problem, due to both better batteries and processors.

What bothers me are the weird take aways people have gotten from the meeting. Knowing Trump, thinking that he's somehow seen the light just because he met with Mamdani, is one example. I'm more worried now about how solid Mamdani's commitment to the NYC voters is.
