"according to the Rev. Joshua J. Whitfield, a pastor at their church, St. Rita Catholic Community in Dallas. Blair, 13, was a rising eighth grader at St. Rita’s school, and Brooke, 11, was a rising sixth grader."

We moved after Harvey- it all got to be too much. Been happy we did yet things like this just tear me into pieces. So many good people in Texas. Arrowhead/Honey Creek and Stewart here, cousins and their kids at Mystic. The very best to you.

Liz, you are incorrect. Same as Rima plus had plenty of Catholic friends at camp. Grew up in Hill country, family attended girls and boys camps for generations.

100%. But then again, these camps mock and appropriate indigenous culture, so there it is.

There are many of them. So hot in summer, founded pre-AC, and it's the TX Hill country with things in valleys. Waterfront camps, most of simple stone cabins. Texas is a story of intense drought and then floods. This is a known, and you are right that it is a risk. I was a camper in the '87 flood.

That's a bad take on a lot of levels.

No, no one deserves to die. Never children, our future. What kind of culture celebrates the death of children?!?

Yet, it is time for some of those camps to go. They're really gross, slow/resistant to change. And, flooding is a known. Hardly a once in a lifetime thing.

Same, we're in Central Mpls. Emailed, it's an error. And bus tracking ends soon, not end of year?
Should be mad but it's first day of Spring and sunny. We just had free first day of Spring cones from Dairy Queen by Minnehaha and not letting MPS ruin the sugary sunny vibes. 🌞

I have thought about this for days now, it is so sad it has come to this.

A walk through most cemeteries will break your heart. It's sobering how commonly communicable disease took young lives and a reminder of how fortunate we are. It's hard to understand how we got here.

This is a wonderful toy store for anyone and a blast to hang out in! The staff is so kind and helpful- they also do amazing curated gift packages if you tell them what the recipient might like and price range. They run what they suggest by you and even wrap up nicely- always a hit!
