I may not have my own Switch 2 just yet, but I already have my replayables and backlogs ready to roll!

Happy #NintendoSwitch2 launch day to everyone who already got their consoles, or are heading to the stores for theirs! 🎉

We are 30 DAYS away from the release of the #Switch2! Are you among those who were able to preorder? Or are you like me whose region still doesn’t have an official release date? 😭

A recent addition to the collection: the #GameAndWatch (Ball) Club Nintendo reissue. Thinking to use this to decide things around the household, like highest score gets to choose what to order for dinner, or lowest score washes the dishes. 😂

I know I said I was trimming down my Switch library, but how can I say no to Peach? Happy to add Princess Peach: Showtime to my backlog—I mean, “soon to play”. 👑

Happy #MAR10DAY! 🎉

Can’t wait to see what Nintendo has in store for the 40th anniversary of Super Mario. A new 3D game, perhaps?

Here’s some Joy-Con design appreciation to celebrate the Nintendo Switch’s EIGHT YEARS! Do you think we’re getting any last minute announcements to close out the Switch 1, or will it be all about the Switch 2 from this point on?

I saw someone mock up a “pocket screen” for the Switch 2, and thought it could use a dual-screen version. Would you spend extra for something like this?

February 14 also happens to be the anniversary of the Game Boy Advance SP! This clamshell version turns 22 today, and is arguably the best and most popular GBA form factor.

Did you ever rock one of these back in the day?

Two years have passed since Professor Layton and the New World of Steam was first announced. Maybe we’ll get an actual release date soon—perhaps during this month’s rumored Nintendo Direct? 🤞

(I also re-BG’d the previous one, just because.)

The cross-mash is complete! You’ve seen my mockup of the PS1 gamepad with N64 buttons. Now, here’s the reverse.

Thanks @wasabidoughnut.bsky.social for the idea!

My very first trade also happens to be my 2000th #PokemonTCGPocket card!

What if #Nintendo and #Sony kept making game consoles together?

I was bored at work, so I mashed together #PlayStation and #Nintendo64 gamepads into this cringe monstrosity. Enjoy!

What changes do you think they’ll make to the Pro Controller for the Switch 2?

Honestly, I think the Switch Pro Controller is already perfect the way it is. But based on Nintendo’s controller history, they’ll probably tweak the design. A lot.

Who else is hoping to see a new Donkey Kong Country game on the Switch 2? Don’t get me wrong, these Switch re-releases of older games are great, but they can only tide me over for so long, and port fatigue is real.

Nintendo Wrapped—I mean, Nintendo Year in Review!

Man, those are some dismal numbers. As usual. 🙈
December 18, 2024 at 10:57 PM
Mario Kart 9 being a (rumored) launch title on the Switch 2 is just good business sense on Nintendo’s part, since its predecessor is the Switch’s best-selling game—twice the sales numbers of its own launch title, Breath of the Wild.

The goddess of the sun returns! 🌞

It only took 18 years, but we’re finally getting a true sequel to the beloved Zelda-like that is Okami!

Who had this announcement on their bingo cards for #TheGameAwards or 2024 in general?
December 13, 2024 at 10:04 AM
Belated happy 15th anniversary to The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks! 🎉

First released in North America on December 7, 2009, this game is a distant-future sequel to Phantom Hourglass.

Before Echoes of Wisdom, this was one of the few games where you could play as Zelda (technically).

By some twist of RNG fate, I have at least 3 of each card for the Venusaur promo! looks great in a binder 👌

22 years ago, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords was released in North America on December 2, 2002. Japan and Europe would get the game three months later.

Anyone ever get around to finishing this one? I would always struggle to get enough players for the multiplayer Zelda games 😅

My luck with #PokemonTGCP seems to be picking back up!

(…I just jinxed it, didn’t I?)
