In my experience, men of any age who get diagnosed with Prostate cancer have other health issues as well. Remember, your concer physician will not treat your hypertension, or diabetes, or other health issues. Outcomes will be improved if lifestyle changes are made. Talk to your primary physician

When you are about to have a medical procedure done, it's a good idea to know the name of the procedure and why you are having it done. Also, remember the name of the physician doing the procedure. This is a part of good health literacy. Tjbmd

If your blood pressure at home is above 130/90 most of the time, an evaluation for hypertension is worthwhile. Untreated hypertension is a risk factor for early vascular dementia. Lifestyle changes 1st recommendations for treatment(smoking, weight reduction). Tjbmd
