I remember this! All of the fans seemed frustrated to have to delay the game by another day by having to sit there for hours but it is important to realize how the air quality effects the players as well.

That’s insane! I know I definitely avoid going outside sometimes during tick season but I didn’t even realize how this affects the environment.

Another environmental friendly sport is running, such as cross country or marathons. It doesn’t require a lot of gear and minimal infrastructure changes. Running outside connects individuals to nature and lowers carbon emissions. Trails also go around natural habitats which improves air quality.

For my media analysis I’m researching the bengals. Former Cincinnati Bengals Adam Pacman Jones was deviant and never used his own urine for the NFL drug tests. He was in the NFL for 12 years without ever getting caught.

Great example! I think it is very important for athletes to be able to realize when they need to focus on mental health instead of always pushing through. She is such a huge role model to many people.

I am going into pre physical therapy and hoping to minor in psychology. As a physical therapist my physical activity would include helping others, giving them stretches. Outside of work I plan on going to the gym. It may be hard to find recreation time with a full time career.

Gotta keep up the gains in the gym after! Way to go

Hey Payton!
I love how they included skating with the older kids as apart of the program. That’s so cool it would definitely make it easier to teach them when their role models are involved!

In this video it highlights how Manon Rhéaume was the first woman to play in the NHL. After having kept her gender a secret by playing for her dad’s all boys hockey team. It uses the feminist theory because she had to prove that hockey wasn’t an only boys sport.

One activity that someone argued in class, that they believe is a sport, was gaming. I disagree with them because in my opinion gaming may work your brain and finger reflexes, but in reality all you’re doing is staring at a screen while sitting in a chair and talking to your friends.
