That was my fitst time at a comics store (weren't such as a "direct sales" . Great times.
'couse nowadays i go all digital, except for Omnibus editions. Right now, I'm digging "Superman The Definitive History" That has to be a physical book to really enjoy it.

3 of my idols in 1 place. Wow! 71 y.o. DC fan here, originally from MKE. I love how you used put MKE landmarks in your panels, such as the bank on Plankinton & Wis. Thanks for a lotta years of pleasure. BTW: did Ron at the Turning Page *really* know you?

All they needed then was a belt, pack of Luckies, & a few drinks, & time to "discipline" the ADHD out out of the kid.
Morons like Tuberville , (apologies to actual morons) fucked over Boomers like me and GenXers who needed detection and treatment instead of "a belt" from "loving", "caring" parents.

No one would ever accept this in a comic. Too unrealistic, too fantastical.
And that’s from an Olde Fart who still believes in Superman and “truth, justice and the American Way” after 65 years.

Preach, brother. My autism has nothing to do with me being an asshole!
Well, at least my wife says so.

Wow! I’m stunned. Supes has been MY hero since Grampa showed me George Reeves in 1958. I’m 72 this year, still buying all the books, shirts & figures my wife allows. He always helped me thru bad times & good.
I know he’s in good hands, James. You seem to have a great take on him
Take us all home.
