There have been many articles in which journalists mull over the allegedly „mysterious“ world view people like Musk and Thiel hold. There’s nothing mysterious about it. They endorse a fascist, techno-authoritarian, anti-democratic world view, which is deeply misogynistic and racist. That’s it.

A reminder Speaker Johnson is the least experienced Speaker in 140 years. Before he was Speaker, Johnson hadn’t served in leadership or as a full committee chair. Does it matter? This debacle would say yes.
