To your point, Egypt has its issues like everywhere, but one thing to learn from it is its hospitality to those seeking refuge and not just rich tourists. In the last 30 years alone, millions of people from Rwanda, Kosovo, Iraq and Syria have been welcomed by the people to live and work and thrive!

Actually their is still a church where they crossed the Nile. I grew up in a neighborhood that’s called Maadi, which comes from the word crossing, commemorating Jesus’s crossing.

As an Egyptian I can assure you, finding an Egyptian who “hates Palestinians is really hard. This wasn’t there before the multiple wars. It is mainly to make sure the genocidal a$$holes have no excuse to drag is into another expansionist war we don’t need!

As someone who used to absolutely love the country, and made countless friends there during the Merkel years, I’m truly in shock of the government towards Palestine!
