Certainly not. And it’s proven to be one of the best hobbies folks can do for their mental health (can verify 🙋‍♀️) The gatekeepy vibes on some of those groups is really disappointing. Let folks try and learn and fail. As long as they aren’t planting bamboo or bind weed, take it easy 😆

Totally feel this 👏 the FB groups can be brutal about shaming nearly anything. We personally grow for food, are conscientious about not buying invasive, and I give bouquets to neighbors and strangers and friends in need of a little joy 💕 I think that all has value too.

I’m growing these this year and I can’t wait to see them in real life 🤩
