Trying new things seems to help out. Exploring new concepts and gaining different experiences reignites the dying spark. Though each new activity break its easy to forget my inner compass and I have to remind myself to realign. Time accelerates too fast. Where did the past 3 months go 💧

Forcing myself to draw the same character over and over without strong attachment felt like a chore and over time lost interest in continuing.

On a positive side, testing a variety of styles has given me strong art insights.

That and there was a lot of subtly noticable mainstream pop references behind each enemy and side quests.

I felt in 3 the choice of references for humor wasnt as strong compared to 2 since most of the popular references was used up already but the gameplay was slightly improved.

I havent played 1 but the appeal of 2 for me was largely from its strong personality characters.
If I recall the VA for Jack went offscript to the director's dismay but it worked well to make the player hate him as a villian early on while also allowing empathy for him as the role reverses later.
