@a54chevy.bsky.social
I went to a Halloween party last month in which two different people, one of them in his early 20s, were dressed as Ace Ventura.

Also just in general let's just be wary of social media stuff that strongly confirms our pre-existing biases, just saying...

We can't even get TV show runners to figure that out, let alone politicians.

Add some black, call it Mardiu

Ok?

Yes, since always.

Just went to my kid's elementary school trunk or treat. At least two dozen KPDH costumes, and four (out of 25) KPDH-themed trunks 😅

Yeah this is it. I was uncomfortable because people were insisting something that I didn't think was true, but at the same time, the bar needs to be higher than this.
October 24, 2025 at 4:22 AM
They don't think we can tell.
October 24, 2025 at 3:16 AM
In fact, it would be exactly the kind of comment this thread is advising against! (Not due to being incorrect, which it isn't, but due to being unproductive.)
October 20, 2025 at 2:40 AM
Respectfully Hank, I don't think it's that complicated.

Yeah I know nonverbal people. My question is about literacy. That's a hurdle for lots of people, neurotypical or not.
October 19, 2025 at 5:09 PM
This is for people who are literate but don't speak?
October 19, 2025 at 4:44 AM
Sounds like we agree more than it seemed at first!
October 18, 2025 at 2:53 PM
For sure, but there *was* a brief period where the internet worked better than it does now, and you didn't have to do any of that. I could just ask jeeves for a banana bread recipe, and I would just get one. I don't think it's problematic to be wistful for those days 🤷🏻
October 18, 2025 at 12:41 AM
I mean it's not oppression, but getting simple info online (like recipes) is definitely a worse experience than it used to be.
October 17, 2025 at 3:33 PM
We're so cooked if that's normal now.
October 17, 2025 at 3:32 PM
I totally agree (except for skateparks, are they getting bulldozed?)
October 17, 2025 at 1:40 AM
🙄
October 16, 2025 at 10:09 PM
I'd agree with you if this was a question every respondent got regardless of previous replies. But from other people's responses it seems you only got this question if you already said you watch creators and had a negative opinion. In that context I think it's fair.
October 16, 2025 at 5:04 PM
If you didn't like the set and you watched creators preview it who didn't like it, it seems like a fair question to ask? 🤷🏻 If I was WOTC I'd want to know.
October 16, 2025 at 3:27 AM
I mean, creators absolutely affect the performance of a set, right? That's fair to acknowledge. Often for the better, but they have the power to go either way. I think it's a fair question to ask people if it consciously affected their opinion going in.
October 16, 2025 at 3:23 AM
I mean, if their goal was to be nice then their wording was dogshit, but that wasn't their goal. They were directly asking what they actually wanted, not dancing around it. Creators were generally negative. Okay. How much did you care? One to five.
October 16, 2025 at 3:21 AM
Quite.
