The way I understand it is she’s always cared about these things, she’s just a true believer nut job that believed it was a cabal of baby eating democrats that was at fault for all of it. I think she’s just willing to say that the facts on the ground haven’t gotten better despite MAGA having power.

Chibrikov and Namestnikov are the only #nhljets forwards to be without points on the season 7 periods into the new year.
12 skaters of 18 have tallied points on 9 goals. The Jets depth is going to be their strength this year.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but have ALL the offseason acquisition gotten their first points as Jets this afternoon? Koepke and Pearson on the Barron goal, Toews and Nyquist on the Niederreiter goal?

Great that he’s locked up.
Do we have any word on the Lowry extension?

So we shouldn’t be expecting the 75 points he had in 2023-24?!

So here’s the logical question as Trump says he’ll decommission the Qatari plane for his library and not personally use it…why? If DoD outfits the “free” plane for AF1 use, why mothball it after 2-3 years when the current AF1 has been in use for 35. Seems wasteful, right?

Agree to disagree on that one. Not going to advocate for violence against anyone.

They are a part of the problem. They’re not going to save us. But using resources to alleviate the pressure companies can put on individuals in situations like this is preferable to a gofundme or advocating for radical change that isn’t coming anytime soon.

I read the breakdown. I’ll watch him play in the NBA; I’m not a NBA talent evaluator. Just saying 2 NBA all-stars (which is what you should be getting for top 3 in the draft) and 3 guys at the YMCA should be good enough to be a 14 seed in the tournament. If not, maybe rethink the draft eval.
May 9, 2025 at 7:01 PM
I’m not needing him to win a national title; I’m just pointing out that a team with 2 healthy lottery picks did not have an even a modest level of team success. This makes me wonder if his ceiling is “good stats, bad team” guy. It’s just not the type of bet I’d be hoping my favorite team would make
May 9, 2025 at 6:44 PM
If there’s a bunch of excuses for why he couldn’t be successful without help at the college level, I’d have serious questions about a flawed team short on talent taking him at the top of the draft. Maybe he works for the Sixers, but my guess is he ends up in a bad situation that limits success.
May 9, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Then why did they chose Rutgers? How does it happen that a school that cannot convince replacement level players get 2 top 5 rookies? Or are they just 2 really athletic guys who don’t mesh well on a basketball team?
May 9, 2025 at 6:07 PM
I’m not saying he can’t be great, but I just can’t get over how 2 player projected in the top 5 this year chose to play together at Rutgers, were healthy, and didn’t get close to .500 in Big Ten play or the 68 team tournament. How does that have anything but “bust” written all over it?

I feel like these insurance companies would stop doing this if they faced some sort of financial ramification. What if someone like @mcuban.bsky.social footed the bill and then the lawyers’ fees to sue for indemnity?
May 9, 2025 at 5:50 PM
But it’s encouraged…?

You got your wish before this response. “Bored” with it after it got responses from 5 people and no one agreed with your opinion. You have no time for anyone who won’t just tell you you’re correct. It’s your choice, it’s just lame.
May 7, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Man, you used to be such a great follow. You have gotten so high on your own supply that any disagreement is taken as an insult. You don’t have to continue to engage. But here’s where I leave you. Go Jets go.
May 7, 2025 at 1:59 AM
And that’s fine to see it differently. To insinuate that my opinion is uneducated on the subject is a different story. Stolarz is likely out for a while with a concussion on an avoidable play where Bennett initiates contact to a vulnerable area. I’d be pissed if that happened to Hellebuyck.

Why would the rulebook needs to be changed? Correct me if I’m wrong but suspensions occur for egregious acts that would meet the criteria for a penalty (cross checking, high sticking, boarding, charging…elbowing). I’m saying the circumstances, elbow placement, and player injury make it suspendable
