this is so wildly off-base. the GTX 1060 was the most popular GPU six years ago (steam hardware survey). it's a 120 W chip that can do 4.4 TFLOPS. even the best Snapdragon 8 gen 4 chip in phones today only has a 10 W power budget and comes no where close to the GPU compute power.

Wish this article also gave praise to Valve's implementation on the SteamDeck which came just a couple short years later. Not identical but still very useful. And valve is expanding it soon to work across all the steam hardware devices releasing in early 2026.

this is a funny stat because the 2015-16 warriors had a 24 game win streak and an 11 game win streak in the same season. but because they didn't lose during the bigger win streak they don't get to be included lol.

I thought this was satire when I initially scrolled past. Steak n Shakes don't strike me as a persuasive destination. more like "ah shit the only supercharger on our route is a steak n shake one"

Glad to see this slowly becoming the trend. I believe Deep Rock Galactic was one of the first. They even let you toggle seasonal content on and off too. It's awesome 👍🏻
