The other thing about the Mobi is that you absolutely cannot operate it without your phone. Meaning, if something happens to the phone, you’re out of luck. Or if you accidentally leave it at home. It’s become counterproductive to my efforts to become less dependent on my phone in general.

The first time my Mobi crapped out, I was getting occlusion alarms every couple days. And then the motor malfunctioned and gave me way more insulin than it believed it was giving me. I had to down an entire role of glucose tabs and a doughnut while downtown at a protest.

I hear Mobi is going to be available for Android soon! The Twiist is another one I’m interested in.
The Mobi durability issues are turning into a deal killer for me. I keep it in a case always & the most wear and tear I get is changing the cartridge. This current one has started falling after 6 wks.

I tried the TruSteels but unfortunately, they caused just enough inflammation at insertion that it was affecting insulin delivery. I did find that double attachment to be a nice security feature, though.

This is an extremely familiar picture to any T1D who has finally fully come around after semi-consciously and ravenously fighting off a 3:30 am low blood sugar episode, sitting on a stool at the kitchen counter, thinking, “dear God, what have I done?”

Ugh. My biggest pump fear. Tandem has to do a better job with its interface. It’s the reason I have an unreasonably low bolus limit set for myself. I’m sorry this happened to you.
