This makes me so sad and frustrated- timidity has no place in politics and Dems need to really get their shit together and strategize to pry the country away from fascists

We had leaders playing by the old rulebook. What we needed was leaders who aggressively prosecuted Trump, took bold steps like admitting PR and DC to the union (3-4 new Democratic senators), and taxed the shit out of the top .1%. Now those changes will take decades.

Also: plan, plot, organize, get strong. One of the huge mistakes Biden made was believing that the MAGA Republican party cares about honor, decency, or norms. They don't. They care about power. We need power: economic, labor, media, legal, hearts and minds. That's what will win.
