Last night at Council, High Sheriff Sammy Douglas and I spoke to our motion on highlighting epilepsy and welcoming the fact Council have agreed to provide training for Cllrs and staff on how to deal with epileptic seizures.

As a cat owner myself, I am delighted to hear the AERA Minister, my party colleague Andrew Muir, will be introducing several key measures to protect cats and improve their welfare.
These will include banning third-party sales, banning shock collars and compelling microchipping.
