Thanks! It’s been fun! I stopped doing the story almost immediately, and I’ve just been exploring. 😅
For the past few weeks, I haven’t had much time to play, but now I can (20 hours in so far). I like all the lore tidbits and references I’ve seen so far. The battle mechanics are interesting too.

As soon as the game let me, I dipped from the story to start exploring Lumiose City. I wanted to use a map and color it in to make sure I cover every inch, but I didn’t want to look one up because of potential spoilers. So I made this by stitching together multiple screenshots:

For fun (and to get a nice copy of “Synchro Deflector”), I had bought a Japanese box of “The Duelist Genesis” (2008). I ended up pulling a Ghost Rare copy of “Stardust Dragon” too!

Also, when I read the news about Home connectivity on Serebii, it sounded like Pokémon in Z-A would not be able to go to any other Pokémon game ever. But it’s similar to transferring from LGPE to SWSH, where they cannot return to previous titles. Transfers to future games are still possible.

Back in March, the DNC had a survey where people could give them feedback. The most common request was asking for a stronger communications strategy. It’s a bit naive to say, but maybe they’ll try and do something about it? Hopefully?

My Nintendo 2024 Year in Review. I’m actually surprised that there’s nothing to display for me. I’ve mainly been playing on my 3DS this year, but I’ve used my Switch a decent amount in most months. 🤔

The strangeness continues. I actually called Nintendo Support about it since it’s still happening. They weren’t able to help me, so I’ll have to find another way to investigate my 3DS’s network traffic. (After my exams, of course. 🙂↕️)

My 3DS has been on sleep mode for a while now since I’ve been busy studying for some licensing exams. Somehow, it’s the device with the highest internet usage in my house.
