A wood-burning fire pit is illegal in View Royal, BC because we have an outdoor burning ban - and huge fire risk during our summers. Gas or propane ok though.

They do this double scratch in my small tray feeder - most annoying as most of the seed ends up on the ground. But they are very handsome, very common in my garden and they somehow elude the Cooper's Hawks that take up residence each summer. Mine are orange, black and white. Yours - moulting?

Mrs. Del Mistro, my Grade 8 English teacher always answered this way when someone stuck up their hand and asked "Can I go to the bathroom"? Never forgotten!

Yes, I am that parent. My 13 year old protested by lying in bed for a day rather than go to Ronda. She was done, done, done with every cathedral and museum in Europe. But her diary from then still has me in stitches - "it would take 3 years to get out of the Louvre if you looked at every item".

CAF will soon be living in a brand new 37 unit condo near Esquimalt base (purchased after a court-ordered sale). I too was surprised when it was announced that new members coming for training would be priority tenants. I think families and more long term members should be first on the list.

The DND in Esquimalt just bought a 37 unit brand new condo ( a court-ordered sale ) so they're putting their money where their mouth is. It will be the nicest and newest military housing in Canada. I'm jealous, especially for the lucky ones who get the penthouse suites!

I use it at the slightest hint of a sore throat - I'm convinced it saved me last week after being exposed to a family member's cold. My bf, who didn't use First Defence, got it :-(.
