No, we can't agree. We should be calling for these people to receive the full extent of the law—and the law says that they should either die or be held in prison until they do. I'll take the latter, sure, but I won't ever tone police someone who recognizes a need for the former.

I'm an anthropologist. If you think that human emotions aren't a fundamental part of our lived experience, then you simply don't understand how we work as a species. You don't have some magical "logic" that nobody else does, you just have no ability to comprehend your own emotions.

And if you think I have low empathy, you should maybe measure your own first. I have empathy for the oppressed, the murdered, and the people willing to stand with them. Oppressors and murderers have forfeit their right to my empathy, and their supporters can enjoy the same on relevant issues.
