Finally here's my original sketch and the purple refined™ version I changed some more for the actual line art, but as my drawings are always rather flawed in the anatomy department. I tend to just think fuck it we ball if the sketch looks halfway decent when I flip it.

The sparks are being done in blender, almost the most basic particle system possible. I had been going to use also make the fog in blender however the method i was using wasn't compatible with cycles renderer so i ended up doing a very lazy edit in DaVinci instead.

next we have the evil jigsaw in question! along with some blender screenshots. The overall process after breaking up the drawing was painfully converting it to a muli-part mesh that i could then piece together, rig and animate!

here we have the unanimated version for if bsky decided it didn't want to play nice. phi is a single layer group so to make the animation I had to spend about half a day isolating and repairing the various parts. #PHISART #murderdrones #digitalart
