@ohchxrlie.bsky.social totally agree that in retrospect, Bayne beating Storm was the move. Stat as champion has felt lacking. But if she were the one to go toe to toe with Bayne and recover the belt, that would've felt earned.

I think you're breakdown of Fletcher vs Briscoe was pretty bang-on. For me there's 2 additional factors
1. TNT title is low stakes, without an emotional build, this was doomed
2. Briscoe doesn't seem to have that extra gear for a PPV match.
