I’ve been reading Alan Garner lately — YA fantasy that is firmly rooted in Welsh and English folklore. Very well written and thought provoking. His most recent novel was short listed for the Booker Prize but he is all but unheard of in the US.

Just as true of people. I found a guest at a holiday party having a seizure a few years ago, a gentleman in his 70s, and it was his first. Scary moment.

MSM has been taken over by the billionaire class over the past generation. Weirdly, media manipulation of the narrative is one of the few things Chomsky got right.

His weird lashing out at different actors over the last month made me wonder WTH is wrong with him. Fame and wealth clearly aren’t enough to assuage whatever trauma he is working out.
