It's good to have the same branding across competitions, but the men's and u20s is amateurish.

I don't think that's anything new. Trolls haven't suddenly gotten worse and/or more plentiful. What's very noticeable is that a lot of the good eggs have left and thus the BS is now a higher proportion of my feed.

I spent my weekend trolling a ten who scrummages and one of his mates. Losing their minds over the Raeburn Shield. Since the nice people left it's been like being a security guard in an asylum. Said fuck it and took the gloves off. It was fun.

The irony is that I abandoned the twitter account I had for over ten years because the constant barrage of news from Gaza was too much. I made the new one to follow just sport. Curated a selection of nice and fun people with the same interests to interact with. Then they all left 🤣

I still had some nice respectful discussion about the match last night. It's not all bad. I just fell into the trap of giving trolls the ozygen they crave.

This is still the internet so will most likely go the same way. I don't follow many people on twitter but the few good eggs that made it worthwhile seem to have left in the last week. I'm going to try and reset. Go back to ignoring the BS and trolls and just interact with genuine people.
