From a consumer perspective, I think it's largely economic- as prices rise on essentials, I have less to spend on things I want but don't *need*. I feel like a lot of people I know are spending less recently

I attended an excellent lecture on this topic recently! So interesting to learn about how our oral health (and GUM health in particular!) can be linked with these problems. Even more important when considering the socioeconomics between income/dental care/health care.
