Fri: Judging entries in the Film Expo South script comp, & helping a 48-hour film comp run by @phetheringtonnz.bsky.social

Thank you to the cast and audience at the rehearsed reading of my feature script "The Inglenook Stone" held upstairs in the Queen's Head in Piccadilly last night. It was an insanely useful exercise that will inform the next draft/polish. @selinayoungerman.bsky.social read the lead role of Cornelia.

Fun online run through yesterday with the actors helping me with my feature script "The Inglenook Stone" which I plan to direct. Looking forward to hearing them present a rehearsed reading on Tuesday in central London, and welcoming the invited #filminvestors #filmproducers and #castingdirectors.

What is wrong with the transport in London atm? Every day there’s something wrong/cancelled/delayed. Been that way for the last few weeks. It makes getting to meetings on time very vexing.

Finally got to the @ealingfilmfestival.bsky.social which has been on all week at @ealingpicturehouse. An epic programme of 13 very varied short films. 🎬📽️🎥
