Technology gives us everything we need to organize, but we often don’t. Why? Fear, apathy, distraction, or the illusion that posting online is enough. Those in power count on our inaction, while we wait for someone else to lead. The tools are there; we just have to act.

It’s hard to sit back and endure four more years of this when every day feels so dire. The constant policy changes and national turmoil make it overwhelming. It’s exhausting, but staying informed, finding community, and taking care of our mental well-being are crucial as we navigate these times.

I never thought I’d see the day when people defended a Nazi billionaire and condemned a bishop asking for mercy for the less fortunate.

Democratic leadership’s failure to notice and address what voters truly cared about paved the way for Trump’s reelection. People needed leaders who listened and acted, not ones out of touch with the moment. This is a wake-up call: we must demand better representation and accountability.

Politics feels disconnected from the people it’s meant to serve. Too much power, money, and gridlock drown out real voices. We need leaders who care about community, education, and fairness—not just maintaining the status quo. It’s time we demand accountability and real change.
