This weekend, I read the Bluesky protocol, and I got very excited again. Maybe it is the thing I have been dreaming about for a decade. If it is, it will not only replace Twitter but also Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, and eventually most of the www - for the better.

A few years later, I discovered Secure Scuttlebutt (SSB) and was extremely excited about it. I even built a gateway for SSB using Hugo and Python. However, I found that the SSB community is too small, and development is very slow, which is really a pity.
