The headline is misleading-this is a NASA funded mission sending NASA astronauts on a rocket built on NASA funding. SpaceX would have gone bankrupt years ago without NASA.

I've been contemplating what should be on an administration's scorecard for which they are measured. Certainly objective statistics such as GDP growth, inflation, etc. Also need some subjective metrics that are evaluated the same way every 4 years...happiness, sense of security, sense of freedom...

Google, Meta or Apple can also do this, but they are publicly traded companies operating in a democracy. There are no such boundaries in China.
