Before anyone says that I like degrading Kido, I just wanna clarify one thing: I DEGRADED THEM BOTH. This is a comparison between my 2-year-old painting vs my most recent painting. I have a kink of wanting handsome men being in pain and tied up.

So in this AU, Seimei was biten by Kido before, therefore both knew each other's pheromone. This is actually inspired by the fact that Seimei knows how Kido SMELLS like. This video is from Kido SSR's animation videos.

In Betas, both glands are very underdeveloped, and they kinda "merge" into one gland with 2 lobes (like the pituary gland in human, it has lobes) - to produce a weird and incompetent pheromone.

In my omegaverse version, A, B, O all have glands. All have 2 glands in total - 1 is the "omega" gland, the other is the "alpha" gland. It depends on whether they are a, b or o that which gland is more prominent. This setting was based on the fact that human both produce testosterone and estrogen

Alpha and Omega pheromes which can soothe their mood and make they feel comfortable. But Beta's pheromone is pretty weird. It's so subtle that only when an Alpha bites a Beta's gland do the Alpha and Beta can sense each other's pheromones. The same may applied to Beta x Omega version.

Kido hated it and loved it at the same time. He was driven by lowly desire while being treated like a dog, a pathetic creature by the same person he loved and lusted 🤌 Moreover, Seimei was not affected and performed everything very professional.

Tbh, I think rut cycle is quite similar to period... The mood swing, the urge to just tore shii apart 😇

AND HERE IS IT - Seimei took charge of this procedure hehe. He injected Kido with pheromone-surpressing drugs and tranquilizers, and also wore the muzzle for him. I really love dog x master dynamics so ofc I wouldn't miss this opportunity.

Kido was bullied, or at least other prisoners tried to, at first. He could handle that - I made sure that my bbg was safe, but ofc he was frequently injured, so he met Seimei pretty often. And during rut cycles (1 week every 3 months), he had to be isolated while wearing a muzzle and being injected

Kido was fully aware that he was biting Seimei (they were kinda mutual pining here), but Seimei just couldn't accept it and Tadayuki (Kido's father, a Professor in this college) was furious. Not just this incident but also around that time Tadayuki found out Kido did some shady things too?

(or correctional physician, I search it up). It was pretty awkward for both parties. They were roommates when they attended the same medical school. In one unexpected rut cycle, Kido wasn't prepare to isolate himself and he bit Seimei- Ofc Seimei was not really "marked" - he is a Beta anyway.
