Big brain mode: make a little filter thing that just blurs those two specifics parts of the screen. It's only 1 or 2 pixels wide so you could probably be able to either duplicate the pixels to the side or sample both sides to mask the issue.

Now that's the dream setup right there 👌

Do you have any way to let the PC side communicate to the PS2 so you can get proper traffic captures?

Past me considered doing this but I didn't have the energy. I hope to see a new PCSX2 fork in the near future 😁

I was using the charm to reduce damage from light attacks for my last 4 runs so I'm biased.

Personal tier list purely based on damage per 1 swing

Light weapons: knife > sickle
Medium: altered sword > crowbar > bat > toy saber > sword = pipe
Heavy (light attack): hammer > axe
Heavy (heavy attack): axe > hammer

Dodge and sprint stamina cost changes based on weapon. Some weapons have an override for combo damage.

The toy saber is more complex and I don't really get it. There's data for level 1, level 2, and level 3. The damage goes from 1.0x to 1.3x and then back to 1.0x for half of its durability in the level 2 and 3 data.

There's a data file for "crazy" pipe which is 1.8x but I don't know what that is.

Most of the weapons keep consistent stats throughout the full durability of the weapon, but not all.

The bat goes from 1x damage to 1.3x from 55% durability. At 1% the swords drop from 1.5x to 0.5x, and 1.3x to 0.3x depending on the form.

Outside of opening DJMax Respect like 2 or 3 times a year, I'm pretty much cured now. The younger generation may need it though

It's an issue at the filesystem level. Terminals can't do anything about that. macOS basically refuses/can't see the files over smb (not sure if it'd work with filenames locally). The only way to fix it that I can find is to make is to rewrite the filenames on the NAS to not use surrogates.

real

Maybe, can't say for sure about that one. I wouldn't really care if it wasn't an actually crowded (as in, everyone touching everyone around them) train. One jerk of the train and that's going to get all over someone.

Yeah, seems to. I don't know if it was always like this but the original video was 60 fps but it's 30 fps on Bluesky. Either way, really happy to have videos longer than 1 minute because that was a real pain when trying to upload work progress videos. And I agree :D
