Interface early, create the clicking point. Become the goal, rather than the constantly moving goalpost of unknowns. You are the reason why a student eventually seeks to become a better developer.

The industry should interface with their talent early! You shouldn't be meeting your next colleague only at the interview.

Often, students believe that they're locked into two hard paths in the games industry - AAA, or indie. That's it.

There's a "clicking point." Where you (industry) make sense to them (students)!

"What's academia doing?" What they can, but it can only go so far if the student doesn't know what they actually want to engage with. But with the industry's help, that can change.
