Thanks Little Leaf 🍃🍁 and to you as well. I hope you are doing well. You always look fabulous in your photos. Had a bizarre Beepalooza a few days back. Have never had this happen. They were determined to jam themselves into the feeder. Shot with my non working bird lens. Hope all is well

Oh that’s beautiful Little Leaf 🍃🍁 👏👏👏 I agree, life is hard. Not surprisingly I think most Americans with a working brain are as angry and pissed off as I am with all that is happening in America. I took two guitars (have worn them out) for repair. This is Red Rock Canyon. Desert beauty. Be well ❤️

Always loved the gear whine on the 675. The Speed Triple had a lot of torque. Here’s a few that I had.

That 66’ Schwinn my son left here when they headed to Okinawa. I really miss the maintenance and cleaning part of motorcycles and this was a really fun project.
This super cool bike was out front of a shop in Okinawa. I went there to visit family.

Oh that’s so cool! As a kid I lived on my bicycle. There was a big hill near us that someone had terraced to build a house but never did. My Dad welded on a 46 tooth rear sprocket. With a 36 up front you could pedal all the way to the top Then fly off that table top.

I like your thinking! Here are the last two bikes I had. Loved the CRF and the NSR250R my son brought back from Japan. Started out fixing what I could then had a full build done on it. Hope your owees heal up soon

Haha🤣 This ended my motorcycle adventures but I started at 10 and made it to almost 70. Funny my granddaughter perfected me using a walker when I got home from this adventure. This was my second animal encounter. Hit a deer long ago 🦌 on a GSXR600. I love critters and felt bad afterward.

First time I’ve ever been dogless. Nearby is a dog park and I always slow down to watch all the dogs being dogs. This was Benson 🌈, my last dog. Loved tennis balls, crunching ice and snow and trips to the park.

Fabulous stories! I have some hummingbirds I feed and there is a raven couple nesting in a large tree behind my place. I put out peanuts for them and have finally seen them a couple of times now. I keep a water bowl for small birds etc. I no longer have a decent lens for my camera

That’s awesome! My dad was a racer, engine builder etc. As a kid he would take us to the shop on Saturday. They had two engine dynos and also a chassis dyno. Got to hear lots of stuff on the dynos. This was the 1961 Indy car they ran. Offy’s sounded great on the dyno. Dad on the left

Nice! Yes it was a Tamron lens. My daughter in law is a Navy nurse. Every three years they are off somewhere new. I was nearby in Bremerton then moved to the desert when they did. They are now in Okinawa. I did an extended visit last year. Really beautiful there

I was really surprised it was quieter than the Arai. My crash was a very unlucky one. Had just turned to check my mirror and at the same time a coyote at full speed had jumped a fence and right into my front wheel. Didn’t even have time to firm my grip etc. Was riding my CRF dual sport

This is a horrible photo but this is the hawk at the water bowl I keep for the birds. This is hilarious. I took this photo holding my iPhone against my binoculars and also shooting through the blinds. Not a pro setup. Geez those claws😳

I had a Arai helmet for quite a while then got a HJC helmet. It was the best and quietist helmet I’ve ever had. I had a career ending crash with a coyote at full speed jumping a fence. Anyway the helmet held up well and did it’s job

Ugh sorry to hear. They took the Saturday morning ferry and rode all day to get to Port Hardy. My friend is on his way home now. About 1250 miles I think. Said yesterday was fog and windy which really sucks on a motorcycle. Sent me a message from Garberville. Said he saw the sign and wanted some

Oh how cool 👏👏👏 I hope that goes well. Off topic my friend and his son took their motorcycles on the Port Angeles ferry to Vancouver Island. They rode to Port Hardy. Told him you can’t go any further North so he said time to turn around and go home. Hope you’re doing well

I love all critters and had a tides app. Where the Boat Shed restaurant was located at low tide I would walk along the shoreline. There were some great tide pools. Saved a few stranded critters and it felt good to do so. First photo is for the 4th of July

Morning Leslie, I love the sounds of the ocean and the smell of saltwater. It’s one thing I miss when I lived in Bremerton. Some photos when I lived there. Was a really cool neighborhood. Several great restaurants, an amazing guitar repair guy and a brewery. Second photo was from my apartment deck

Haha! That made my 11 broken ribs from 3 years ago hurt from laughing!
Good job Little Leaf 🍃🍁
I have mastered the power line butchering of photos my friend.
I see you’re still battling migraines, UGH. My late wife used to get those and they were horrible.
Hope your day is fabulous

Oh how cool! I saw your posts and photo from the plane. I hope you have a fabulous time. My friend is about my age and has always ridden motorcycles. He said he’s been planning this trip for a long time and said if he didn’t do it now the enthusiasm would be less next year. Couple photos.

Oh they do indeed. The other one I had was Tilly, missing an eye and we always joked maybe some other key dog parts. Heart of a lion 🌈
August 15, 2025 at 11:24 PM
Long ago I had two Jack Russell’s. Had one of those tough tug toys. Anyway my son had the tug toy and the male dog grabbed on. My son started spinning in circles. Dog would not let go. After a while he was still hanging on and had closed his eyes😳 Was Fred, this one 🌈

Cool photos! Long ago my son had a Super Takumar lens. I think at the time I had a Fuji XT-1 and used that lens a few times.
August 15, 2025 at 3:20 AM
This one was flying straight towards me. I was trying to focus on getting the photos. Second photo you can see it look left. Hard to see but it swooped down and grabbed a small octopus 😳
August 13, 2025 at 1:11 AM
Wow that’s so cool! When I was in Bremerton many days I would be looking for eagles to photograph.
