I think you made this up. Unless you’re literally talking about real time troop movements this has never been true.

Completely the opposite but it also made me laugh. It was so wrong it was right.

Somebody commented under yours “well they are the wild cats” and I liked that too

No this is so real I distinctly remember learning the phrase “the sushi is on the table” in Japanese and being like wow I’m really doing this.

I wondered if you’d be impressed with Stephen “the guy” as opposed to the show, because everything I’ve ever read about him has portrayed him as positive, genuine, and lowkey brilliant.

In the Bad Place, For You was often extremely funny. The doomscrolling content is coming from inside the house.

(I probably am only now realizing what everyone already knows.)

My district (6) will still be represented by at-large members until 2026. I think that means basically Kathleen Treseder, who is an ecologist and a PhD, which I think is pretty awesome.

Can't wait for a real estate developer backed by a defense contractor to win that seat in two years.

More info on John Park: to the extent that Irvine's city council is partisan (lol they're all rich and live in Irvine), Park is the more republican choice: he's endorsed by law enforcement.

Melinda Liu, narrowly trailing, is endorsed by Katie Porter and clearly ran as a 'blue' candidate.

The city council races are splitting 50/50 over the first two batches. Agran and Kim each picked up about 1800 votes, and Agran still leads by roughly 4,800.

In District 1 (Tustin adjacent area up by Portola and the toll road), John Park was leading by 70 votes yesterday and 56 today (!).
